What we’re looking for:
📈 Experience
✔️ Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner or in a similar finance role
✔️ Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
✔️ Strong background in stakeholder management, with experience influencing at all levels and partnering with senior leadership
💡 Skills
✔️ Strong understanding of financial reporting, controls, and compliance
✔️ A proactive and strategic thinker, confident in challenging assumptions and driving change
✔️ Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
What you’ll be doing:
🔹 Business partnering: Collaborating with senior management and department heads, providing financial insights to drive business performance
🔹 Strategic decision support: Translating financial data into actionable recommendations to improve efficiency, profitability, and strategic planning
🔹 Financial reporting and analysis: Taking ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring key trends and variances are identified and presenting findings that drive action
🔹 Budgeting and forecasting: Developing and management of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning models
🔹 Performance evaluation: Conducting hands-on, deep-dive financial reviews, proactively identifying opportunities, inefficiencies, and areas for growth while implementing solutions
🔹 Compliance and risk management: Ensuring financial reporting aligns with accounting standards and FCA regulations, while actively improving internal controls and governance
🔹 Process improvement: Continuously evaluating and enhancing financial processes to drive efficiency and automation
