As the Finance Business Partner, you will work with your assigned BU Head/Channel Director to support the implementation of their business strategy through providing financial advice, analysis and insight into business performance.
ResponsibilitiesAs our Finance Business Partner, your key responsibilities will be to;
- Act as a trusted business partner to support the relevant BU/Channel to improve their financial performance
- Ensure correct financial treatment and booking of the revenues and costs for the relevant business area. Drive continuous improvements in the month-end process to achieve a timely submission
- Produce accurate and timely reporting and commentary to enable the relevant BU Head/Channel Director to understand the current business performance

- Co-ordinate the preparation of the bi-annual budget and monthly Sales forecasts for the relevant business area
- Propose actions to improve the profitability of the relevant business area and monitor the progress
- Produce scenario analysis and modelling to enable the business to make the right decisions
- Ensure compliance with Canon accounting policies, support audit process and continuous development of SOX controls
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.
As our Finance Business Partner and to be successful in this role, we would like you to have the following skills and experience;
- Part qualified or recently qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA)
- Advanced Excel modelling skills
- Experience using different IT systems e.g. Oracle, Hyperion, Essbase would be beneficial
- Previous experience of working in a Commercial Finance / business partnering role and with evidence of success
- Proactive and collaborative approach

The salary for this role is £46,000 - £52,000 depending on experience plus 10% bonus, pension, PHC, life assurance, 25 days a/l plus additional lifestyle benefits to choose from
