Our team in Commercial OEM Finance is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join them.

To be considered for Finance Business Partner, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor of Science in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in finance, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, operations, business analytics, or related functions

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex spreadsheets, advanced functions, and financial modeling

  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment and adapt to changing priorities

  • Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial and operational issues

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain customer-centric relationships

  • Strong understanding of supply chain, procurement, inventory management, manufacturing operations, or working capital concepts preferred

  • MBA or CPA preferred

As a Finance Business Partner, you will:

  • Partner closely with Supply Chain leaders across the Commercial OEM business to understand strategic objectives and support execution of business commitments

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain leadership to develop financial metrics and KPIs, track performance against commitments, and drive accountability for achieving financial objectives

  • Support financial forecasting, supply chain cost performance monitoring, inventory management, and risk and opportunity assessments to drive proactive decision making

  • Analyze material cost trends, purchase price variance (PPV), supplier cost changes, inflation impacts, and productivity initiatives to support business performance

  • Collect and analyze relevant data to prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis against prior periods, plans, and budgets

  • Partner with Supply Chain and Operations teams to improve inventory performance, working capital management, excess and obsolete inventory, and material availability

  • Support annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning activities for supply chain functions

  • Develop and maintain analytical tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions that improve visibility into inventory, supplier performance, material costs, working capital, and key financial drivers

  • Collaborate with other finance teams to improve communications, processes, reporting, and business initiatives

  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes

  • Support strategic sourcing initiatives through financial analysis, business case development, supplier assessments, make-versus-buy evaluations, and identification of cost reduction opportunities

  • Provide financial support for supply chain transformation initiatives, productivity projects, and process improvement activities

  • Present financial insights and recommendations to functional leaders through reports, presentations, and meetings

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and automate manual reporting activities through improved tools and self-service solutions

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $140,000.00–$140,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
