We’re on the lookout for a Supply Chain Finance Business Partner (BP) to join our high-performing Finance team at Mars Snacking Australia, based in Melbourne.

In this role, you will serve as a trusted partner to our Supply Chain teams, enhancing operational effectiveness and driving financial performance. You will play a key role in defining and ensuring the delivery of the Supply Chain financial objectives, reporting, analysing and providing insights on business results, along with realizing and judging risks and opportunities. Leveraging digital reporting tools, you will translate data into actionable insights, champion continuous improvement, and raise financial acumen across cross-functional supply chain stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • Be a True Business Partner: Provide financial guidance and ensure sound financial and operational decision making support for Supply Chain and Logistics to deliver on operational plans and periodic S&OP+ cycles.
  • Shape Financial Performance: Deliver thorough financial inputs, reporting, and analysis for operating plans, revised forecasts, and strategic planning cycles for Supply Chain.
  • Drive Value Creation & Cost Agenda: Perform trend and variance analysis to uncover opportunities, track key performance indicators, and support the business simplicity and cost optimization agenda.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement: Partner with operational teams to track action plans, address root-cause variances, and drive sustainable operational efficiencies.
  • Deliver Actionable Insights: Utilize digital tools and financial systems to generate high-impact business insights, helping non-finance stakeholders understand key financial drivers.
  • Support Strategic Projects: Contribute to local and regional supply chain finance initiatives, ad-hoc analyses, and investment evaluations.

What You’ll Bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Qualifications: CPA / CA (or equivalent) qualification or progress towards completion is highly advantageous.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit environments (experience within FMCG, Manufacturing, Retail, Shared Services, or a Big 4 firm is advantageous).
  • Technical & Process Knowledge: Working knowledge of management accounting, cost control, and supply chain processes (e.g., S&OP, inventory flow, production scheduling).
  • Analytical Mindset: Demonstrated ability to work with financial systems, digital tools, and complex data to extract clear insights and strategic narratives.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse functional teams.
  • Proactive Drive: An agile mindset with a focus on problem-solving, accountability, and continuous improvement.
