Your challenge
This role is a stand-alone and key pillar position in the OPCO Management Team, ensuring financial growth and strategic direction while acting as a trusted right-hand to the Managing Director. The Finance Business Partner combines financial expertise with business acumen to provide valuable insights that drive decision-making. Success in this role requires balancing strategic leadership with hands-on operational execution, managing financial processes while proactively shaping the company's growth. You will be responsible for financial management, reporting, and strategic planning, ensuring that financial insights drive business decisions. The role also involves supporting business unit directors with financial and strategic analysis, overseeing business development from a financial perspective, and managing key planning and forecasting processes. Finance & Reporting
- Generate financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with group standards
- Manage forecasting, financial planning, investments and profitability monitoring, including fixed costs and salaries
- Ensure timely and high-quality monthly and annual reporting to the ROCKWOOL Group
- Own and manage the Quaterly Business Review (QBR) process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
Strategy & Business Development
- Take ownership of the annual strategy cycle, ensuring structured planning and execution
- Support the Managing Director as a key strategic advisor, providing financial and business insights
- Work closely with Business Unit directors, demonstrates business engagement, and is able to translate financial insights into strategic actions that drive growth
- Manage business development initiatives from a financial perspective, ensuring viability and long-term profitability
- Contributing to the development and realization of growth strategies and overall business results;
Team & Project Management
- Identify and realize costs savings within Lapinus and in cooperation with the factory
- Initiate and implement improvements by automation of reports
- Ensure full compliance; responsible for contracts and inter-opco service level agreements; facilitates Rockwool Group audits and follow up on outcomes.
- Represent the OPCO in group finance meetings, acting as the primary financial liaison
- Maintain a strong working relationship with ROCKWOOL Global Business Services
- Act as a challenging voice in the management team, balancing high-level strategy with operational execution
- Ensures coordination and commitment of plans and strategies with other Lapinus and/or Rockwool departments;
- Active member of an international Management Team and represent Lapinus in projects of Rockwool Group and international finance community
- Fosters a culture of financial and strategic awareness across the organization
Your profile
- Master in Finance, Business Management or MBA, strong background in finance, financial planning, and reporting;
- Proven strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to translate financial data into business decisions
- Experience in business development from a financial perspective
- Hands-on approach with the ability to balance operational and strategic responsibilities
- Strong ability to support and challenge BU directors, ensuring financial discipline and opportunity identification
- Excellent stakeholder management, both within the OPCO and at the group level
