Finance Business Partner MFG & R&D

• Location: Geel

Act as Finance Business Partner for Plant 1 and R&D activities as well as supporting functions in charge, provide analysis of financial performance, challenge management in decision-making process and foster performance improvement. He/she leads the monthly performance reviews and ensures a proper follow-up of action plans identified. He/she is the Finance contact for department related adhoc analysis and projects/investments.

Main responsibilities:

• Actively participate to +QDCI
• Provide accurate and effective performance reporting related to actuals, forecasts (Activity, expenses, Yield, P&D, headcount…) for Plant 1 and R&D activities.
• Operational Performance follow up for valorization of improvement plans, follow up of implementation and identifications of mitigating actions.
• Play an active role in identifying areas to maintain/decrease cost of good.
• Provide CoGS simulation for projects, sourcing cases, scenario building for efficient ways of working.
• Support smart spending cost follow up
• Support MFG P1 production activities and strategy delivery
• Support R&D activities in new launches
• Project costs controlling (Opex/Capex/Headcount).
• Unions Finance presentation
• Manage various stakeholders such as R&D, Manufacturing Operations, SpeCare sites, Finance M&S, Controlling Ops…

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Experience in Finance as M&S Finance Business Partner
• Chartered and / or Cost Accountant / Existing exposure in Finance or Controlling
• External or Internal Audit experience is a plus.

• Financial/analytical Ability
• Recognized capacity to serve as a Business Partner among peers.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, work autonomously and effectively with cross-functional partners and drive process improvement initiatives across an organization.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills as well as communication skills to build commitment create adherence and report to management.
• Accountancy & Costing methods
• Pack Office / SAP / TM1
• Strong inter-cultural skills and eagerness to work in an international setting.
• Fluent in English/ Dutch
