We’re searching for a Financial Business Partner (Product & Engineering) to join our Finance team, so that we can drive financial excellence and strategic decision-making across our global Product, Engineering, and Technology organisations. The Financial Business Partner will partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations leaders to lead financial planning, investment analysis, and performance management across Product Management, R&D, and SaaS infrastructure costs in order to support scalable, profitable innovation across the business.
How You’ll Spend Your Time
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and long-range planning (LRP) across global Product, R&D, and Technology organisations to support strategic investment decisions.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to translate product strategies and technology roadmaps into financial insights, trade-offs, and ROI analysis.
- Build financial frameworks for product investment evaluation including feasibility analysis, capacity planning, burn rate tracking, and capital allocation.
- Implement performance metrics such as KPIs and OKRs to measure R&D productivity, release efficiency, and overall engineering effectiveness.
- Own forecasting and optimisation of SaaS hosting and cloud infrastructure costs across platforms such as AWS, Azure, and other data infrastructure environments.
- Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and FinOps teams to identify cost efficiencies, improve unit economics, and support contract negotiations.
- Develop cost attribution frameworks and COGS modelling to support multi-tenant environments and internal cost allocation across the product portfolio.
- Influence cross-functional decision-making by clearly communicating financial risks, opportunities, and insights to executive stakeholders.
- Strengthen financial processes, reporting capabilities, and governance frameworks to support global technology investment management.

- Proven experience in finance leadership roles within global technology, SaaS, or enterprise software organisations.
- Proven success in partnering with Product Management, R&D, engineering, or technology operations teams to drive financial performance and investment decisions.
- In-depth knowledge of SaaS hosting, cloud cost management, FinOps principles, and COGS modelling.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear financial insights that influence executive decision-making.
- Experience supporting product portfolio strategy, investment prioritisation, and long-range planning.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to operate in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Ability to commute to a hybrid office environment when required and collaborate across global teams.
- A genuine interest in technology, healthcare innovation, and building financial frameworks that support scalable product growth.
- Working collaboratively with cross-functional global teams while also driving independent strategic initiatives.
