We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to play a pivotal role in ensuring full compliance with FIA Financial Regulations, while enabling the team to maximise performance within the permitted spend.
You will lead strong cross-functional collaboration to guide decision making, be an expert on financial regulations, providing leadership, challenge, and insight to ensure every financial decision supports both compliance and on-track performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end Financial Regulations processes, including variance analysis and forward-looking forecasts incorporating risks and opportunities
- Support the annual FIA Cost Cap submission, working closely with Financial Control, FP&A, and budget owners to deliver accurate, timely, and fully compliant filings
- Deliver internal education programmes to improve cost-cap awareness across Technical, Operational, and Performance Enabling functions
- Constructively challenge departments to ensure spend and resource allocation maximise cost-cap effectiveness
- Partner with Finance Business Partners to identify opportunities for exclusions and optimal cost treatment
- Ensure data integrity and reconciliation across ERP systems, cost centres, and Cost Cap reporting structures
- Maintain and develop scenario models with FP&A to respond quickly to regulatory changes
- Influence, support, and challenge senior leaders with confidence and credibility
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Excellent working knowledge of FIA Technical, Sporting, and Financial Regulations
- In-depth understanding of Power Unit regulations and their interaction with Chassis regulations
- Previous experience within Formula One or a comparable high-level motorsport environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and wider Microsoft Office tools
- Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders constructively
- Calm, confident decision-making under pressure
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- A results-driven, detail-focused approach
