The Role

Job Description

An outstanding two year fixed-term contract opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner within the LEGO Group ‘Markets and Channels’ Finance Team. Supporting the Marketing and Commercial Teams within the Central Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa (CEEMEA) Market Group, the role is based in Prague. Core Responsibilities
 

Strategic

  • Business partner with the marketing and commercial teams to evaluate, plan and deploy strategic investments across Trade and Marketing for CEEMEA.

  • Provide data-driven analysis, insight and recommendations, to support both tactical and strategic decision making. 

  • Plan and control both marketing and trade investments working closely with the commercial teams.

  • Identify and evaluate business risks and opportunities, communicating recommendations to senior partners.

Operational

  • Ownership of financial reporting and planning processes with a specific focus on sales and investment performance to budget.

  • Target settings process and co-owning financial performance.

  • Perform ad-hoc analysis requested by management and use an analytical approach to adjust and improve value creation by rearranging financial information.

  • Financial support to business collaborators.

Organizational

  • Build a close relationship with the CEEMEA Finance team. Deliver to this reporting line requested financial information, analysis, and work closely and actively with commercial finance team members across CEEMEA.

  • Building positive relationships with business collaborators across the region as their finance partners. 

  • Close collaboration with Global M&C Finance team and Finance Business Partners from other teams.

  • Collaboration with the BSO team on the financial processes.  

  • Represent Finance in cases and cross-functional projects and bring in financial insights for better decision making.

Do you have what it takes ?
  • Degree or equivalent experience to at least Bachelor level, with subsequent accounting qualifications such as CIMA, ACA, or ACCA being advantageous.

  • Consistent track record in finance business partnering roles, collaborating with senior team members.

  • Must have worked with and delivered results within commercial finance roles (planning, reporting and analysis) preferably as a Finance Business Partner.

  • Experience with SAP (FI, CO, BW modules) combined with advanced MS Excel and Power point skills.

  • Flexibility to travel internationally (~2 times per year).

  • Customer focus and consumer driven.

  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to manage large data sets.

  • Excellent written & verbal presentation and communication.

  • Strong commercial foresight with a new way of finding mutually beneficial solutions. 

  • Combines a well-developed analytical ability with tenacity to see ideas through to completion.

  • A high level of integrity that delivers results when required, typically above expectations.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently.

  • Ability to contribute financial skills across business disciplines.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence and maturity to network with people across different divisions, ,business units, time zones and cultures.

  • Motivated to work with others and seek to understand other views.

The role is offered as a two- year fixed term contract based in Prague.
