As a Finance & Business Management (F&BM) Associate Business Manager in Payments Operations, you will support the Head of Payments Operations and business leaders as a trusted advisor. You’ll own key aspects of business governance, communications, strategy, and day-to-day business hygiene—preparing leadership forums, consolidating content for business reviews, and championing controls and operational efficiency. This is a highly visible role that requires outstanding communication skills, project management discipline, a strategic mindset, and a process-oriented approach.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and support business governance for the Head of Payments Operations, including leadership and extended leadership meetings, business management meetings, and Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs)
- Drive preparation and content creation for leadership offsites and global town halls in partnership with leadership, corporate communications, and business owners
- Own and maintain key organizational documents, such as organization Fact Packs and MD Induction Packs used to support Payments Operations leaders
- Partner with business leads to consolidate content for Monthly Business Reviews shared with the Co-Heads of Payments
- Provide governance on business strategy across a cross-functional global team, including quarterly automation-benefit reviews, business-lead support, and dashboard development and maintenance
- Drive controls and operational efficiency best practices, championing adoption of applications, technology, and AI/ML solutions across the organization
- Manage content consolidation and messaging to the organization and key stakeholders through channels such as a monthly newsletter, intranet site, and Teams channels
- Support business hygiene activities, including asset decommissioning, system access management, organization-wide tool implementation, and headcount reporting
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience in Business Management, Operations, Project Management, and/or Business Strategy
- Strong multitasking, organizational skills, and attention to detail, with ability to deliver time-sensitive tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to leverage data to influence decisions
- Ability to build and maintain partnerships with internal teams across disciplines in a matrixed environment
- Ability to lead project work with a governance and control mindset
