Under the direction of the Workday Finance Associate Architect, this position is responsible for maintaining the performance of the Ivy Tech vendor management process and other financial systems while supporting stakeholders across the college. The Finance Business Analyst is a member of the Ivy Tech Finance Center of Agility (FCOA) team in Ivy Tech’s Business Affairs department.
The FCOA team is responsible for managing a broad portfolio of Financial and Payroll applications, integrations, and reports delivered primarily through the various financial system platforms.
The Finance Business Analyst must have a strong financial background with experience of one or more ERP implementation(s) and configuration(s) while maintaining a rigorous commitment to quality, security, and attention to detail.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Configure and Support Ivy Tech’s implementation of Workday Core Financials, Payroll, Projects, Grants, Procurement, and other Workday applications as applicable
Support the bi-annual Workday upgrade processes, including evaluating and testing new functionality
Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from internal customers and stakeholders
Gather, document, and analyze new supplier requests through Ivy Tech Supplier onboarding system
Supplier creation and maintenance of information within Ivy Tech Supplier Portal and Workday Supplier
Sending of Supplier Onboarding vendor invitations for Systems Office supplier requests
Conduct root cause analysis to determine an appropriate action plan for break/fix and support issues
Draft and revise - Business Affairs policies and procedures based upon new system requirements and functionality due to the Workday Implementation
Build and support basic Workday reports using various Workday reporting tools (Report Writer, Discovery Boards, Worksheets)
Acquire in-depth knowledge of Ivy Tech’s business to identify opportunities for improving internal processes and driving efficiencies
Develop partnerships with other Ivy Tech Workday module analysts, users, and/or administrators
Collaborate and contribute to the Workday community user groups
Assist with occasional training to end-users
Provide functional oversight of technical integrations
Assist in updating training manuals
Some travel may be required within the state
Act as back-up for Workday Community- managing communications with Workday Support for designated modules

HIRING RANGE: $65,000 - $70,000
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college/university.
Minimum 3 years of business analysis, technical business analysis &/or project management.
Strong foundation in analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrate the ability to analyze and document processes, procedures, etc.
Have a strong foundation in customer service mentality with excellent communication skills.
