We're seeking a Director to join our Internal Audit Core Finance team.
In the Audit division, we provide senior management an objective and independent assessment of the Firm's internal control environment for risk management and governance. This is a Director level position within the Business Audit, which is responsible for inspecting controls in front, middle and back offices.

What you'll do in the role:
Provide audit coverage in Finance audits participating in risk assessments, audit planning, testing and reporting.
Participate in the periodic continuous monitoring of Finance activities, data gathering, analyze and provide assistance in risk assessments.
Lead as Auditor in Charge and develop audit planning documents, test programs and execute against plans within specified budgets.
Communicate audit findings to senior team members like Audit Coverage Managers and Audit Director, as required.
Identify and evaluate key risks surrounding Finance Regulatory Reporting and other Core Finance process.
Create and execute test procedures to assess the designated control environment, and clearly document results in line with internal documentation standards.
Participate in initiatives and projects to enhance our Audit approach and coverage.
What you'll bring to the role:
At least 5 to 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
Understanding of business line and key regulations relevant to coverage area
Strong understanding of audit principles, methodology, tools, and processes (e.g., risk assessments, planning, testing, reporting and continuous monitoring)
Functional or Audit experience around Asia, US and/ or UK Finance Regulatory Reports such as Capital Adequacy, ICAAP, Financial Statements or exposure in Finance regulatory reports is a plus
Ability to ask meaningful questions, understand various viewpoints and adapt messaging accordingly
Ability to identify and analyze multiple data sources to inform point of view
Designing and deploying Power BI dashboards for audit Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and familiarity with AI tools or platforms (e.g., OpenAI, GPT-based systems).
Good understanding of the operation of financial markets, financial instruments and strategies, business drivers specific to the Institutional line of business, and the associated regulatory environment.
CA / CIA / CFA / FRM / CPA certifications would be a plus
