We are looking for a Finance Associate to join our team in the Isle of Man.
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Associate to support the day-to-day financial operations of multiple entities across different jurisdictions. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, coordinating with local advisors, and assisting in period-end reporting. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of 1-C accounting principles and experience working in a multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and post invoices accurately and promptly across multiple entities.
- Input and reconcile payments.
- Maintain and update vendor and customer records.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations.
- Monitor cash movements and balances.
- Assist in managing intercompany payments and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with local accountants and advisors in different jurisdictions to ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Manage reporting requirements from the entity, ensuring timely and accurate submission of financial data.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close processes.
- Prepare and post prepayments, accruals, and journals.
- Assist with reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Provide accurate and timely financial information to the Group Financial Controller.
- Contribute to the preparation of management reports and financial statements.
Skills & Qualifications:
Essential:
- Fluency in English, knowledge of Russian is a strong asset.
- Good knowledge of 1-C accounting principles and reporting standards.
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Certinia, 1-C System).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
- Experience working in a multinational or multi-entity environment.
- Knowledge of IFRS or other international reporting standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
