Why you will love this opportunity as Finance Associate at Civica

In this role, you will support the Finance team by preparing management reports on a monthly basis, conducting financial analysis and making recommendations, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives involving purchasing and facilities management. You will track and manage procurement data to align with financial targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts for purchasing and facilities operations.
  • Assist in analysing financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize spending.
  • Support the purchasing manager in vendor selection, contract negotiation, and procurement processes.
  • Prepare/Review purchase requisitions and ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of procurement activities and vendor agreements
  • Maintain and update the savings tracker to monitor cost reductions and procurement efficiencies.
  • Support vendor onboarding processes and maintain accurate vendor documentation.
  • Collaborate with the facilities manager to manage maintenance budgets and expenses.
  • Track and report on facility-related costs, including utilities, repairs, and upgrades.
  • Assist in planning and executing facility improvement projects.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
  • Accounting or equivalent business qualification.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, P&L, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Prior experience in procurement, financial analysis, or facilities management support is a plus.
  • Intermediate skills Excel (including good working knowledge of pivot tables).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Flexible and adaptable to support both purchasing and facilities departments.
  • Attention to detail.
