Position Summary: The Finance Associate will support the finance team in managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with statutory and donor requirements, and maintaining accurate financial records for project activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Scrutinize and verify all claims, bills, invoices, and supporting documents received.
- Timely release of payment as per financial guidelines.
- Maintain proper records of the books
- Enter financial transactions into BC-ERP accurately and promptly, ensuring there are no data entry errors.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents for audit and donor compliance.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation
- Coordinate with program teams to verify financial documentation and expenditure
- Assist the field finance team during internal, statutory, donor, and external audits by providing required documentation and clarifications.
- Undertake field visits as and when required
- Ensure compliance with organizational financial policies, donor guidelines, statutory requirements, and applicable accounting standards
- Maintain confidentiality of financial records and sensitive organizational information.

Qualifications: Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce (B. Com/M. Com)
