The essential functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Keep accurate financial records and ledger
- Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards and internal controls
- Perform account receivable functions including deposit and revenue recognition
- Perform account payable functions including preparation and processing of checks and payments
- Reconcile, balance, and review all accounts for errors
- Prepare and file appropriate tax and vendor documents, sales tax, 1099, etc.
- Assist with preparation of audit and Form 990

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and 3-5 years relevant experience
- QuickBooks Online – required
- Non-profit experience
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge and understanding of GAAP
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use of good judgement
- Willingness to work in a small office environment and the ability to complete tasks with little direct oversight
