We’re looking for a hands-on finance operator who loves numbers, hates messy books, and thrives on automation.
You’ll own the day-to-day accounting operations - ensuring that every transaction, from a user’s top-up to a marketing expense, is accurately recorded, reconciled, and reported.
This is a high-ownership role at the intersection of finance, data, and systems - perfect for someone who wants to go beyond traditional accounting and build the financial engine of a modern fintech.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date books across all Sav entities in multi jurisdictions.
Own daily reconciliations across banks, cards, and payment gateways. Support in timely vendor payouts.
Automate manual finance workflows using Zoho, Google Sheets, or scripts.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring clean ledgers and zero suspense. Prepare Balance sheet reconciliations and schedules.
Support month-end and quarter-end close processes with precision and timeliness.
Prepare key financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and variance reports.
Coordinate with auditors and consultants for reviews, filings, and statutory audits.
Partner with Product and Treasury teams to track real-time cash and revenue movement.
Support compliance reporting (VAT, DFSA, etc.) and maintain audit-ready documentation.
Support Tax compliances for multi jurisdictions (India, UAE and US) and ensure full regulatory adherence. Prepare data and workings for filings.
Support in tax assessments (Direct/Indirect). Prepare data and workings for assessments.
Build and share dashboards and reports for leadership and business teams
Requirements
Experience and qualifications:
3-5 years of accounting or finance ops experience in a fintech, SaaS, or startup.
Strong grip on end-to-end bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end close.
Experience working with Zoho Books or Xero (NetSuite is a plus).
Advanced Excel / Google Sheets proficiency; familiarity with SQL or PowerBI is a plus.
Working knowledge of VAT and statutory compliance.
Obsessive attention to detail, process discipline, and documentation.
Strong ownership, curiosity, and bias for automation — not repetition.
Comfortable working cross-border (UAE, India, KSA entities) and with global teams.
You’ve implemented or integrated accounting tools via APIs.
You’ve worked with auditors and regulatory bodies (DFSA, ZATCA, etc.).
You’ve supported or managed a migration to a new accounting platform.
