Finance Assistant

Salary: £24,250 - £26,000

We're seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Finance Assistant to support our busy finance department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in high-volume supplier invoice processing. If you're a motivated and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
Key responsibilities:

• Accurately input and process supplier invoices, credit notes, expense claims, and payment runs into our accounting system.
• Maintain daily cash books and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage and reconcile various ledgers to ensure balance accuracy.
• Assist the finance team with a variety of ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.

Skills and experience:

• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
• GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).
• A positive and collaborative attitude.
• Minimum of 1 year’s previous experience in a finance or accounts clerical role, preferably with high-volume purchase ledger invoice processing.
