YOUR IMPACT STARTS HERE  

As a Finance Assistant, you will primarily be responsible for the accounts payable function, ensuring supplier invoices, expense claims, and payments are processed accurately and on time. The role manages supplier accounts, reconciliations, payment queries, and supports strong financial controls.
In addition, the Finance Assistant assists with accounts receivable, account reconciliations, and general accounting activities, including month-end reporting, maintaining financial records, and supporting audits. The role also contributes to process improvement initiatives, helping to streamline finance processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the accuracy of financial operations.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BUILD & OWN  

  • Support the smooth and effective operation of the Finance function by managing daily accounting activities and ensuring the accurate recording of financial transactions.

  • Process and maintain Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger transactions in a timely and compliant manner.

  • Review, validate, and process employee expense claims in accordance with company policies and internal control requirements.

  • Prepare and submit e-invoices, ensuring compliance with applicable local regulations and business requirements.

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and financial reporting requirements.

  • Support internal and external audit processes by preparing required documentation and responding to information requests.

  • Assist with statutory reporting, tax filings, government submissions, and other regulatory compliance obligations.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance processes, controls, and reporting practices to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.

  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to resolve finance-related queries and provide timely financial support across the business.

  • Undertake additional finance, accounting, and administrative duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
    Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior exposure to Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), or general accounting functions will be advantageous.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with the ability to manage and analyse financial data effectively.

  • Basic knowledge of taxation, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements is an advantage.

  • Experience working with ERP or accounting systems is preferred.
