Location: Cologne, Germany
Work Hours: 15-20 hours per week, 3-5 days per week
About the Role
- Assist with day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks with financial transactions
- Process Vendor Bills internally for approval and record in the accounting systems (Everest/Ramp)
- Process and file Vendor Bills for manual payments in support of the Finance team
- Verify, enter, and monitor various Customer Invoices and Vendor Bills
- Communicate with internal and external vendors/contractors
- Prepare and file financial documents (i.e., reconciliation, closing Journal, etc.)
- Assist with tax declaration and audits
- Other duties as assigned by the manager
Your Skills & Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting and audit
- Advanced knowledge and experience in finance and accounting
- Experience in Everest or other ERP systems (not required)
- Experience in consolidating data from various entities
- College-level education in accounting or economics is a plus
- Specialized in International accounting or taxation is a plus
- Fluent verbal and written communication in German and English
