QuidelOrtho has a new opening for a Finance and Operations Lead to join our team in Saudi Arabia! Due to our strong commercial success, and the high growth expectations, we are looking to hire top talent to join us on this exciting journey and support our continued expansion across 2024 and beyond!

Your new role: The Finance and Operations Lead is responsible for managing financial and operational systems, processes, administration, and internal controls in support of the organization's mission in MEA region. You will be providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies while breaking down the barrier between accountancy and management to support business objectives and corporate growth. You will be providing financial insight and guidance to support decision-making across the organization. You will be acting as the main point of contact for addressing any inquiries and questions related to financial operations.

What you'll be doing in your new role:

  • Prepare weekly Sales/BO report and ensure all stakeholders are well informed on what are the current orders in the system along with the shipping details and items on BO.

  • SFDC Owner - ensure that opportunities are updated - weekly overview of existing opportunities - provide monthly report to stakeholder to ensure opportunities are updated / aligned with the forecast.

  • Coordinate in field transfers of Refurbished Instruments - ensure all details are accurate and coordinate with the team to ensure smooth transfer from Illkirch to country of destination.

  • Responsible on the coordination/submission of all documentation required by the bank for LC transactions.

  • Prepare Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and quarterly forecasts.

  • Review reports to analyze projections of sales and profit against actual figures, budgeted expenses against final totals, and suggest methods of improvements as appropriate.

  • Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities ensuring for the correct and timely internal and external reporting for Tax, Balance Sheet and P&L.

  • Weekly and monthly follow-up on customer open orders, liaising with various stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely fulfillment of customer and patient needs in alignment with monthly target.

  • Project Management mindset to help plan and execute various expansion plans with the MEA region.

Owner of the tender forecasts and make sure that:

  • All stakeholders are aligned, with a full tracking schedule.

  • Ensure that orders are received / shipped on time.

  • Tenders preparation support, tracking actual vs contracts.

The individual:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance as minimum.

  • Professional certification in Accounting / Finance.

  • 6+ years of relevant experience.

  • Fluency in English and Arabic.

  • Business Partner mindset.

  • Experience working in a matrix organization.

  • Knowledge of US GAAP.

  • SAP knowledge.

  • Advance Microsoft office skills.

  • Ability to perform and meet deadlines.

The role is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
