Finance and Adminisatration Manager

Ramsay Health Care are seeking a commercially savvy and people-focused Finance and Administration Manager to join Tamara Private Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for the financial management and performance of the hospital, partnering closely with the Hospital Executive team and clinical leaders to support strong financial and operational outcomes. You will be supported by an offsite Finance Service Centre, which manages the majority of transactional accounting, while you retain ownership of the accuracy, integrity and performance of the hospital’s financials.

What You’ll Do

This is a key business partnering role where you’ll go beyond the numbers to provide financial insight, support informed decision-making and help drive the hospital’s ongoing performance. You’ll work closely with leaders across the hospital to build financial understanding, identify opportunities and ensure strong financial and operational outcomes.

• Finalise and analyse financial results, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Lead the annual budgeting and business planning process.
• Manage the financial implications of capital expenditure and investment decisions.
• Liaise with Corporate Finance Services on reporting, compliance and financial governance.
• Partner with clinical and operational leaders to build financial understanding and accountability, helping managers understand, monitor and achieve key performance indicators.
• Provide high-level administrative support, including coordinating correspondence, preparing reports and responding to information requests.
• Support site office functions, including accurate data entry, filing and diary management.

What You’ll Bring

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring strong commercial acumen, financial management expertise and the ability to build trusted relationships across both remote and on-site teams. You’ll be comfortable working with non-financial stakeholders and translating financial information into practical insights that support better business decisions

Your Skills and Experience

• Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance management, preferably CPA or CA.
• Strong ability to analyse financial and operational data and develop meaningful business insights.
• A collaborative approach and demonstrated ability to partner with the business to enhance performance.
• Excellent attention to detail, sound decision-making skills and clear, concise communication.
• Proficiency across Microsoft Office programs.
• Experience with large accounting software packages and financial reporting models, including advanced budget preparation.
• Proven ability to work effectively with and support key non-financial stakeholders.
