Finance & Admin Officer who will play a critical role in supporting accounting operations, payroll
administration, tax compliance, regulatory requirements, and office administration.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on finance professional who is comfortable working in a startup
environment, managing multiple responsibilities, and ensuring operational and regulatory compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records.
• Perform general bookkeeping functions and ensure completeness of financial documentation.
• Monitor Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and company expenditures.
• Prepare and process payment requests for suppliers, vendors, and employee reimbursements.
• Perform bank reconciliations and financial account reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and financial service providers.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filing and submission of government-mandated reports.
• Prepare and maintain supporting documents for BIR compliance requirements.
• Monitor tax deadlines and ensure timely payment and filing obligations.
• Review tax-related transactions, computations, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with government audits, tax assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Coordinate with external tax consultants and accounting partners as needed.
• Stay updated on Philippine tax laws, statutory regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Process payroll accurately and within prescribed timelines.
• Compute salaries, overtime, allowances, statutory deductions, and other payroll components.
• Process and monitor SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions and remittances.
• Prepare payroll reports, employee payslips, and statutory schedules.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of payroll records.
• Coordinate with relevant government agencies regarding employee registration and payroll
compliance matters.
• Support daily office operations and facility-related requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, HMO providers, internet providers, and service partners.
• Maintain company records, permits, contracts, and administrative documentation.
• Monitor office supplies, equipment, and asset inventory.
• Assist with employee documentation and general administrative activities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or
a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Finance, Payroll, Taxation, or Compliance.
• Strong knowledge of:
o Philippine Taxation
o BIR Compliance
o Payroll Administration
o Financial Reporting
o Statutory Contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
• Experience in bookkeeping, financial record management, and account reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or payroll systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a startup environment
• Willing to work purely onsite at Makati City
