What We Can Achieve Together:

The Finance Specialist will provide specialized Finance/accounting-related services to the Europe Region reporting to Finance Manager. They will provide a range of finance-related support to the Europe team and are responsible for expeditiously and courteously responding to, routing, or resolving inquiries and requests from internal and/or external customers. Specific responsibilities may include:

Finance & Accounting

  • Receiving, organizing, and keying invoices from a variety of sources into the Accounts Payable system ensuring payments are being made in accordance with an established budget and source, and preparing invoices for payment.

  • Assisting with monthly and yearly accounting close.

  • Closing out the reconciling items, Analysing and posting corrections.

  • Assisting with AdHocs, reporting and analysis.

  • Complete other duties assigned by Finance Manager or the DFO

  • Administer and maintain finance/accounting activities in confidentiality and in accordance with TNC policies and procedures and best practices in financial management.

  • Experience with GAAP and fund accounting principles, practices and regulations.

The location of this position is in the UK. This is a hybrid role and the contract will be fixed-term for 1 year with a possibility to extend.

What You’ll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field and 3 years' related experience or equivalent combination.

  • Experience with GAAP and fund accounting principles, practices, and regulations.

  • Experience using automated accounting systems.

  • Experience with accounting/financial issues and analysis.

  • Experience using accounting and financial reporting systems.

  • Technical experience with spreadsheet programs, general ledger reports and financial management tools.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance & Accounting.

  • Strong organizational skills, including establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail, Ability to Multi-task, and accuracy of data entry

  • Good problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manipulate, analyze and interpret data. Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel.

  • Fluency in German and English
