SAIC is hiring a detail oriented Finance Analyst. The ideal candidate will be self motivated, analytical and ready to work in a fast paced environment. This position is 100% remote and can be worked from anywhere in the United States.
Job Responsibilities:
- Report detailed information, analyze financial data in support of multiple projects and present briefings to SAIC managers as required.
- Analyze and reconcile cash flow, profitability, invoicing, unbillables and costs on hold on a recurring basis.
- Participate in AOP (annual operating plan, quarterly forecast, monthly latest revised estimates).
- Support ad hoc requests, as needed and requested by management.
- Proactively participate in process improvement efforts relating to finance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; OR Masters and one (1) year of related experience.
- Bachelors degree concentration in Finance, Accounting or business-related discipline preferred.
- Understanding of financial management.
- Must be analytical, possess excellent communication and presentation skills and have the ability to work independently as well as a member of a team.
- Familiarity with government contracting and the difference contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M, etc.) is a plus.
- Experienced working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and be persistent in follow-through.
- Well versed in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint etc.) to include advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPS and pivot tables.
- Working knowledge of CostPoint, Power BI, Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), and Cognos Workspace Advanced preferred.
- US citizenship REQUIRED
