Role Overview
We are looking for a driven finance professional with strong technical accounting acumen to manage the company’s accounting and bookkeeping operations.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented and an excellent communicator who is able to step up to the challenge in a fast-growing
environment.
About the Role
- Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including maintaining general ledger accounts and preparing journal entries.
- Execute month-end and year-end closing activities of the group and respective subsidiaries.
- Perform General Ledger reconciliations, prepare Trial Balance, Balance sheet and P&L.
- Assist in the Group consolidation, audit and other reporting processes.
- Assist in the preparation of tax and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Contribute to the preparation of internal management reports, including budgets and forecasts.
- Liaise with other departments in the business to translate the business activities into complete and transparent accounting information.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of financial and accounting operations and systems, processes and practices considering
automation and improvement of business processes
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in similar role.
- Detailed understanding of IFRS.
- Working knowledge of Quickbooks will be an added advantage.
- Excel knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction
with all levels of company management and personnel. - Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, consistently
meeting deadlines with accurate and detailed results. - High level of integrity and strong sense of personal ownership and
Skills Required
