Finance Analyst (m/f/d) – Wuppertal

The Finance Analyst will be a key business partner to the Manufacturing and Operations teams, supporting financial planning, manufacturing cost analysis, month-end close activities and operational decision making to improve Wuppertal site performance.
A day in the Life:
Support the site Finance Manager in managing day-to-day financial activities and in driving site performance through timely analysis and business partnering
Collaborate closely with Operations, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams to provide financial insights, challenge assumptions and support decision making
Analyze transactional and operational data, identify anomalies, and recommend accruals / reversals to ensure accurate reporting
Support monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting and budgeting processes
Contribute to post-acquisition integration activities and the implementation / adoption of new systems and processes, including SAP, Oracle and other finance tools
Keys to Success:
Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in Financial Analysis, Manufacturing Finance, Plant Controlling or Cost Accounting, preferably within a global manufacturing environment
Proficient user of systems (SAP, Hyperion, Hyperion Planning, Power BI, Cognos, Excel...). Experience with ERP implementation or migration projects is considered an advantage
Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to summarize and present information in a concise and effective manner
Attention to detail and consistently delivering high quality work. Ability to learn quickly, meet deadlines and multi-task in deadline driven environment
Good understanding of manufacturing business processes, financial controls and internal control environment
Ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and effectively partner with Operations, Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams
Experience supporting post-acquisition integration activities or finance process standardization is considered a plus
Fluent In German C1

Skills Required
