**This role is a Hybrid position located in - 4349 Easton Way, Ste 200, Columbus, OHIO** Required in-office attendance during month-end close key dates. Will be in the office approximately 4 times per month.
Position Purpose: With the Buckeye Healthplan Finance team, you will support Buckeye HealthPlan Finance month-end calculations and estimates, statistical reporting, enrollment reporting, delivery data reconciliations and trend analysis:
- Inpatient Validation monthly valuation (inventory method for claims valuation for prior period development and current month valuation), quarterly inpatient validation reconciliation against paid lags, inpatient statistic reporting
- Accounts payable accrual, provider incentive accrual, non-inpatient trending analysis utilizing Power BI
- Financial reporting utilizing OneStream, enrollment reporting, Delivery reconciliation, quarterly marketshare/competitor HBR analysis
- Twice per year administration of QIA (Quality Improvement Activities) surveys, support to department heads for finance related questions.
- Handle complex and high level financial data analysis
- Other projects throughout the year
Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. 4+ years of financial or data analysis experience. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Access.
Preferred Skills:
Fiscal experience in managed care health insurance company with strong accounting, analysis and data skills
Advance data warehouse skills (MicroStrategy tool for EDW warehouse)
Intermediate MS Word, PowerPoint, OneStream financial reporting and Power BI
PeopleSoft general ledger and Sequel experience
Pay Range: $67,400.00 - $121,300.00 per year
