We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join our Iberia finance team in Spain This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, multinational environment, supporting multiple legal entities and collaborating across global finance functions. For this position we can offer a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Support the Iberia Finance Controller across our legal entities, including a manufacturing plant and multiple locations in Spain and Portugal
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings in line with US GAAP and local statutory requirements
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including submissions to US Corporate
- Support external audits by preparing and providing required documentation
- Contribute to financial statement reviews and statutory reporting
- Assist with tax compliance (corporate tax, VAT, statutory filings) in collaboration with external advisors
- Partner with shared services to ensure accurate accounting entries and reporting integrity
- Monitor compliance with local regulations, SOX requirements, and internal controls
- Act as a key partner to the business by providing financial insights, highlighting risks, and supporting decision-making
- Participate in finance projects, system improvements, and process optimization initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including FP&A, Supply Chain, Commercial Finance, and Global Accounting/Tax teams
- Support day-to-day accounting activities and continuous improvement of financial processes and controls
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
- 2-3 years of experience in finance/accounting, ideally in international and/or manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of and experienced in Spanish accounting standards
Audit experience would be considered as an asset
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred), advanced Microsoft Excel and good knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
- Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate financial data into clear business insights
- Comfortable working across different organizational levels and cultures
- High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
- Experience in a global business environment is highly valued
