The role 

We’re looking for a sharp, commercially minded FP&A Analyst to join Dyson’s Finance team based in Mexico City. In this role, you’ll be a key financial business partner and support Admin & Accounting activities. You’ll work cross-functionally with Marketing, Demand Planning, and Supply Chain teams to ensure financial goals are aligned with expectations. You’ll bring clarity to the numbers. 

This role requires more than just technical FP&A skills — it demands curiosity, and a proactive mindset. You’ll be expected to build partnerships, and help stakeholders make smart, data-driven decisions in a complex fast-moving environment. 

Key responsibilities 

Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting 

  • Support the monthly and quarterly forecast process including data maintenance and uploads into reporting system

  • Partner with operational teams to ensure forecasts reflect market realities and strategic plans 
  • Develop and maintain financial models
  • Coordinate the local teams to meet reporting timelines and alignment requirements
  • Seek opportunities to improve the process to present recommendations.
     

Month end Financial close 

  • Support the monthly closed process
  • Support in Cost Centers and GL Accounts management
  • Partner with accounting and FP&A regional teams to ensure accuracy aligned with accounting policies providing relevant and reliable month end figures.
     

Performance Analysis & Reporting 

  • Analyze actual results versus plan to understand performance drivers at the channel, market, and category level 
  • Support to prepare monthly reporting packs, commentaries, and dashboards.
  • Highlight risks and opportunities proactively.
     

Marketing, Demand and Supply Business Partnering 

  • Act as a financial partner
  • Provide actionable insights to improve profitability and efficiency. 
  • Provide ad-hoc financial support for managers, based on ROI for business decisions

Support pricing process

  • Maintain and update price lists by customer/SKU for Finished Goods and Customers Terms and Conditions
  • Maintain and update a price list by SKU for S&A
What you’ll bring 
Experience & Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. General accounting principles and financial analysis are needed

  • 3-5 years of experience in FP&A or Accounting roles required
  • Hands-on experience with ERP (SAP) and reporting tools
  • Desirable experience working with international companies, LATAM or emerging markets is a plus
     

Skills & Attributes 

  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, translating data into strategy, not just spreadsheets 
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office and Outlook is required
  • Experience working in forecasting and month end closing
  • Experience working with sales and/or marketing is a major plus
  • Experience leading projects a plus
  • Communication and presentation skills—you’re confident presenting to senior leaders 
  • Comfortable working across time zones, teams, and functions with cultural awareness
  • Adaptable, proactive, and resourceful, you thrive in dynamic, fast-changing environments 
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Fluent in English and Spanish are required (Portuguese is a plus)
