Finance Analyst - Controllership

Job Description SummaryResponsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities

• Preparing forecasting cashflows every quarter, compare actuals to forecast and improve Modeller.
• Ensure pre close actions are completed and postings are made.
• Month end close co-ordination, ensuring teams are available and monitoring their progress, escalate and resolve any issues that arise.
• Prepare the receivables month end analysis file and upload the SAP TB and tie out ERP.
• Quarter end reporting pack - preparing receivable reporting information, co-ordinate with other teams to construct the full reporting pack.
• Preparing account reconciliations.
• Prepare statutory and SOX accounting support.
• Leading lean initiatives and projects to improve current processes.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in the Finance & Accounting Operations.
• Relevant degree within Accounting or Finance.

Desired Characteristics

• Professional qualification - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or Qualified by experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
