As a Finance Master data Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing fiancé master data (Chart of accounts, Profit Centers, Cost Centers) within the organization's database systems. You will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of finance master data information to support various business functions and processes.
Your responsibilities
- Data Maintenance: Update and maintain finance master data records (Chart of accounts, Profit Centers and Cost Centers) in the database as per ABB policy.
- Data Quality Assurance: Perform regular data audits and validations to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of finance master data. Identify and rectify any data discrepancies or errors.
- Data Governance: Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures related to fiancé master data laid down by ABB.
- Data Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate finance master data across various systems and platforms, ensuring data consistency and synchronization.
- Data Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and provide insights on finance master data metrics, trends, and patterns to support decision-making processes.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement related to fiancé master data management. Propose and implement solutions to enhance data quality, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training materials and documentation related to fiancé master data management processes and best practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams like R2R, P2P, P2D, and O2C to ensure accurate and timely finance master data updates and resolve any data-related issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in accounting, Finance or Commerce.
- 0 to 1 years of experience in Finance master data object in SAP S4/HANA.
- Must be flexible in working for any shift timings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and practices.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Proficiency in using database management tools and systems.
- Analytical mindset and the ability to derive insights from data.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
