EDGE is seeking to source a full-time Finance Analyst to start immediately. Position is perm with a 90 day probationary period.
Pay is $45k annually. College degree not required but some college preferred or technical training preferred.
• General Accounting practices experience is a plus.
• Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Must be proficient in both AP and AR processes, demonstrating ability to manage financial transactions effectively. Strong attention to detail ensures accuracy and efficiency in these critical areas.
• Bookkeeping and General Ledger (GL): Proficiency in bookkeeping and GL management with an ability in record-keeping and basic financial reporting. Must be excellent at maintaining organized and compliant financial records.
• Billing and Reconciliation: Experience in billing and reconciliations, with skills in verifying financial data and ensuring accuracy. Experience in resolving discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
• Software Proficiency: Must be intermediate level to advance in Excel and some familiarity with QuickBooks although experience is not required. Willingness to streamline accounting processes with professional development training opportunity in advanced software in the future.
• Budget Management: Assisting leadership with maintaining budgets for grants and cost reimbursement contracts. Processing weekly invoicing and meticulous tracking of funded expenditures in the general ledger ensure fiscal responsibility and area of compliance.
• Act as backup for Executive Assistant in her absence, greet clients, filing and other duties as assigned.
