The Role

We’re looking for a Finance Administrator to support our day-to-day finance operations within the business, working closely with the finance and operations team.

This is a hands-on role focused on accuracy, organisation and consistency. You will be responsible for maintaining financial records, supporting reporting processes, and assisting with VAT submissions.

The ideal candidate is someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working with numbers, with a willingness to learn and grow within a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Operations

  • Posting business expenses accurately and in a timely manner
  • Issuing and tracking sales invoices
  • Performing regular bank reconciliations

Reporting & Compliance

  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Supporting VAT return submissions and related reporting

General Support

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • General finance and admin support across the team

What We’re Looking For

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong attention to detail and good numerical accuracy
  • Well organised with good time management skills
  • Comfortable using accounting or finance systems/software
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Willingness to learn and develop within the role
  • Proactive, reliable and takes ownership of tasks

Good to Have

  • Previous experience in a finance or accounting support role (preferred but not essential)
  • Basic understanding of VAT and bookkeeping principles

Requirements

  • Based in Malta (this role may require occasional in-person collaboration with the team)
  • Fluent in English
