The Finance Administrator position is a Temporary, 18-month opportunity based in West Edmonton, offered under a hybrid work arrangement.Job Description:
Major Job Functions:
Work closely with the sales organization and Caterpillar financial staff to provide finance quotes to customers and sales staff.
Provide end-to-end administrative support for equipment financed by our captive lender and ensuring funding of the sale.
Prepare searches and registrations using various Personal Property Registry systems
Document and maintain financing activity
Perform all administrative tasks related to manage the equipment credit release process with a focus on meeting customer delivery expectations, accuracy, and risk mitigation
Work quickly to identify, resolve or accelerate any potential risks or road blocks to the appropriate internal stakeholder(s)
Regular, proactive, and consistent contact and collaboration with customers, internal and external stakeholders (including Cat Finance) to ensure all transactions are expedited quickly and efficiently and meet customer delivery expectations
Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner and establish and maintain effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality
Mandatory Experience and Skills:
A minimum of two-years of experience in a financial or credit environment
Proficient in MS Office applications and internal systems
Proficient in the coordination of Financing documentation
Soft Skills Required:
Solid analytical, problem solving and interpretation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
Attentive to detail
Non-Mandatory or Nice-to-Have Knowledge:
Basic understanding of the Personal Property Security Act (PPSA) and Corporate Registries
Basic understanding of business law and tax law
Basic understanding of insurance terminology relating to coverage (physical and liability)
Familiarity with the heavy-equipment industry, product line, and customer base
