We are looking for an Finance Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and accounting support to our Operational Accounting team. This role plays an important part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting compliance requirements, and ensuring key accounting processes are completed efficiently and accurately.
You will work closely with the Senior Accountant and wider finance team, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives while helping maintain the integrity of our financial data.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain financial master data, including supplier, employee, ledger, account and cost centre information within the finance system.
- Support banking and month-end activities, including payment approvals, bank reporting and foreign exchange rate updates.
- Assist with audit requirements, statutory reporting and Transfers of Value reporting, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided.
- Support product costing activities, process improvements and the ongoing effectiveness of Operational Accounting processes.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Senior Accountant and wider Finance team.

Requirements
- Previous experience in an Administrative, Finance, Accounting or shared-services environment.
- Experience working with ERP, understanding of financial controls, audit requirements, and master data processes particularly in a regulated industry.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy with a proactive attitude to learning.
- Good data management and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively while also taking ownership of individual tasks.
