Job Description
Shape the future of finance operations in North Europe!
We are seeking an exceptional F&A Manager to lead and manage transactional finance operations across multiple countries in North Europe. Reporting directly to the Regional Finance Director EMEA, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance and efficiency of our financial processes. You'll work closely with Shared Service Centres, and collaborate with group and regional teams, making a tangible impact on our organisation.
Your Role & Responsibilities:
As the F&A Manager North Europe, you will:
- Lead Month-End Closings: Ensure precise and timely reporting of group figures for all entities maintaining alignment between local accounting standards and IFRS.
- Drive Financial Accuracy: Oversee entries, anticipate accruals, and provide detailed variance analysis against budgets and prior periods.
- Manage Budgets & Cost Control: Prepare localised budgets, ensure efficient cost accounting, and maintain robust cost control processes.
- Ensure Compliance: Handle tax obligations and statutory requirements with externa expert guidance, ensuring adherence to local and group standards.
- Coordinate Audits: Serve as the primary point of contact for group and statutory audits, working seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee Credit & Collections: Manage credit and collections activities for TOMRA Food EMEA, optimising cash flow and minimising risk.
- Be a Strategic Partner: Collaborate with finance and accounting teams, providing insights and support, and act as a trusted advisor to the site manager.
Qualifications
About You:
Qualifications & Experience:
- Fully qualified accountant 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting management, preferably in the industrial sector.
- Expertise in IFRS standards, strong financial analysis and reporting skills, and a proven ability to present actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting and managing financial plans.
Technical & Compliance Skills:
- Proficient in ERP systems (we use IFS), advanced Excel and Power BI.
- Proficient in managing tax compliance and planning according to local and group regulations, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
Leadership & Communication:
- Proven ability to lead, inspire and motivate teams by setting clear goals, providing direction and fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, with exceptional communication skills to effective engage with senior management, auditors and external advisors.
