Job Description:

Our finance department plays a central role in the sustainable success and growth of our company. To further professionalize and manage our finance and accounting topics, we are looking for an experienced individual who takes responsibility, develops structures, and acts as a central interface within the organization.

Your tasks

- Responsibility for proper, legal, and policy-compliant accounting

- Preparation of annual financial statements in collaboration with management and tax advisors

- Further development, optimization, and assurance of reporting, controlling, and reporting systems

- Conducting ad-hoc analyzes and deriving business insights for management decisions

- Budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning

- Organization of electronic invoice processing processes

- Structuring and continuous development of the Finance & Accounting department

- Preparation and review of tax reports

- Support in the implementation and management of billing and invoicing processes for new customers

- Responsibility for the financial post-merger integration

- Harmonization of accounting standards as well as integration into monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting

- Central interface to accounting, FP&A, and external auditors

- Ensuring the consistency, quality, and transparency of all financial reports

- Introduction and implementation of efficient finance processes, systems, and tools

- Professional and disciplinary leadership of the Finance & Accounting team

- Conducting regular performance and employe reviews

Your skills
 

- Completed studies in the field of Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of relevant professional experience in the finance and accounting field, ideally in an international corporate environment
- In-depth knowledge of accounting, financial statement preparation, taxes, and reporting
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
- Analytical thinking, high affinity for numbers, and structured working method
- Strong communication and assertiveness skills
- Leadership skills as well as experience in employe development
- Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel; experience with ERP and reporting systems is an advantage
