Your Opportunity as a Finance Intern  

As an intern within our Finance and Accounting organization, responsibilities will vary based on the department and role within Finance. We have internship opportunities in Financial Planning & Analysis, Supply Chain Finance, Supply Chain Accounting, Internal Audit, Plant Finance Services, Tax, Treasury, Payment Services, Payroll and Strategic Business Areas (including Coffee, Frozen Handheld & Spreads, Pet, Sweet Baked Snacks, and Away From Home.) 

 

Location: Orrville, Corporate Offices  

 

Work Arrangements: Hybrid - onsite a minimum of 9 days a month primarily during core weeks as determined by the Company; maybe more as business need requires  

 

In this role you will:  

  • Receive personalized training and may assist with responsibilities including reporting and reconciliation processes, analyzing results to explain performance drivers, supporting forecasting and budgeting, collaborating cross‑functionally, streamlining processes using data tools, and translating analysis into actionable insights for decision‑makers. 

  • Contribute meaningful work alongside analysts, managers, directors, and executives.  

  • Develop an overall understanding of corporate finance.  

  • Have the opportunity to take on flow to the work assignments across a variety of finance departments.   

 

What we are looking for:  

  • A Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior standing in school with requisite educational experience in accounting, finance, actuarial science, analytics, statistics, economics, mathematics or another relevant field   

  • A well-rounded skill set including strong time-management, attention to detail, written and oral communication, teamwork skills, as well as a proficiency in MS Excel.
