Job Description

Impiricus is hiring for a Financial Controller who will report directly to the CFO, to support all aspects of financial management, including but not limited to, financial modeling, accounting, financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, account receivable and payable management as well as management of internal control policies and procedures. 

Responsibilities

Financial and Accounting Operations

• Manage all day to day accounting operations including Financial Modeling, Scenario Analysis, Billing, GL, Price Modeling and Revenue Recognition
• Coordinate with CFO and Leadership to direct the preparation of budget, financial forecasts and report variances
• Support building of processes to streamline financial operations
• Manage business financial processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Support annual audit

Reporting

• Prepare Monthly investor financial reports
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements

Quality and Compliance

• Support management and compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Research and address technical accounting issues for compliance
• Coordinate preparation of regulatory reporting

Other

• Adaptability and ability to support additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree
• 4 - 8 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
• CPA or CMA preferred
• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience in Financial Modeling
• Experience with creating financial statements and forecasting
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
