We’re offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Final Trim Grader Operator to join our growing FH Gisborne team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality pavements efficiently and ensuring our sites are left in excellent condition. You’ll be working with Topcon/GPS equipment, so prior experience is essential. We take pride in fostering an outstanding team culture, and our goal is to be recognised as the top pavement crew on the East Coast.
In addition to the above you will:
Undertaking safety enhancements on local authority road networks across both urban and rural settings
Completing area-wide pavement treatments and overlays, including final trim work
Carrying out pavement construction for subdivisions
Shaping and trimming batters to specified standards
Using your expert operator skills to ensure all infrastructure projects are delivered according to plan and up to a high standard
Performing daily pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on the grader

We’re looking for someone with:
Solid experience operating graders in a road construction environment is essential
Proficient in operating Graders across a range of situations
Proven experience using Topcon / GPS gear
Class 1 full licence minimum and WTR’s endorsements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
Driven to achieve deadlines and goals
Sound understanding of site safety and hazard management
Creating, Connecting and caring for the community
