OverviewTransaction Network Services (TNS), a Koch Industries company, is seeking a talented and motivated Technical Project Manager who will be working remotely. The Project Management area is responsible for leading cross-functional teams to achieve the project goals and requirements. Work with project teams and stakeholders to plan, execute, monitor, and control the project. Manage resources, budget, cost, time, quality, risks, and other constraints.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Creating and executing Project Plans, Meeting Agendas/Minutes and Status Reports; escalating when appropriate to deliver project tasks on time;
- Identifying resources needed and managing assigned resources, including 3rd party Field Technicians;
- Managing day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope;
- Effectively applying PMO methodology and enforcing the TNS Operational Readiness standards;
- Managing multiple projects at once with one week to multi-month life cycles.
- Collaborating with network engineers, datacenter technicians, clients, and internal stakeholders;
- Working with TNS’s vendors to ensure timely delivery of ordered services;
- Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Tracking risks and creating contingency plans.
Minimum qualifications:
- Very good spoken and written English;
- 4-5 years of Technical Project Management experience in the IT/Telecom industry;
- Desired qualifications: experience with datacenter infrastructure deployments, PMP certification;
- Team player;
- Fast learner, self-sufficient, work with minimal supervision;
- Hard-working;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
