Description. Chimera Enterprises International is seeking a Fielding Coordinator to support the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JPEO- CBRND) JPEO-CBRND Headquarters (HQ). The JPEO-CBRND manages our nation’s investments in chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear defense equipment, and medical countermeasures. battlespace worldwide. This position requires a Secret clearance.
Job Duties:

  • Execute the Air Force processes associated with the 12 Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements and incorporate results into appropriate acquisition documentation.
  • Perform Joint Integrated Logistics Assessments, as required, in accordance with the roles and responsibilities outlined in Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND) policy #34.
  • Perform analysis (e.g., level of repair analysis, maintenance analysis, etc.).
  • Review and provide comments to deliverables from the material development contract (e.g., system developer progress status and management reports).
  • Provide a consolidated logistics schedule, to include a schedule for each program within a given portfolio, and update the schedule on a monthly basis. .
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute formal manual validation and verification events for each program as required based on schedule and established milestones.
  • Participate and provide input to program functional milestone decisions, Integrated Product Teams (IPT), In-Process Reviews (IPR), and required program updates for the material development contract.
  • Provide logistics input into program documentation (e.g., Life Cycle Cost Estimate (LCCE), Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), Systems Engineering Plan (SEP), etc.)
  • Provide logistics requirements for the assigned program’s Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) and Risk Management Plan (RMP), updating the documents as necessary.
  • Develop, update, and maintain program strategies and plans.
  • Provide logistics requirements for Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP).
  • Analyze logistics processes to determine which processes require change and how that change can be affected by the application of emerging technology.
  • Provide recommendations about logistical issues to program leadership.
  • Manage the drafting and staffing of logistics documentation for the Joint Project Manager (JPM) and United States Air Force (USAF).
  • Develop, establish, implement, and maintain plans, schedules, controls, instructions, and procedures.
  • Generate progress reports and other logistics tracking information related to programs.
  • Ensure that the program abides by good logistics practices as the program proceeds through its acquisition life cycle.
  • Plan, manage, coordinate, monitor, and ensure that logistics issues and concerns are appropriately and adequately addressed.
  • Identify and manage logistics engineering risks and issues.
  • Develop/update and execute the LCSP.
  • Provide Configuration Control Board (CCB) input.
  • Support design/program reviews.
  • Ensure logistics are considered in requirements, design, integration, and T&E events.
  • Examine, monitor, review, and evaluate recurring logistics element issues for corrective action and team member responsibilities.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Preferred: Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III certification in Life Cycle Logistics is desired. Education
  • Bachelors degree and/or ten (10) years of relevant work experience.
