Responsibilities:
- Understand KTS hardware, software and other solution systems provided to military users.
- Integrate KTS systems on aircraft and with ground users.
- Provide training to aircrew, avionics, and ground users.
- Recommend and develop training programs in support of maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Manage inventory and accountability of hardware and software.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to users.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on hardware and software systems.
- Serve as a liaison between military units and KTS Headquarters.
Prior to supporting New River, NC, Miramar, CA, and/or deployment, the FSR must complete training at a location TBD. The FSR may also support integration and test events at KTS’ headquarters and CONUS for various test events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Information Technology with two or more years of experience. Military experience in similar field with Honorable Discharge or comparable experience in-lieu of degree.
- MOS of Crew Chief, Avionics, Communications, or Pilot.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Hardware, software, and data network troubleshooting skills.
- Windows and Linux Computer operating experience.
- Experience with USMC/tactical radios.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- US citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Ability to travel overseas.
Preferred Experience:
- Avionics CDQ/CDQAR/CDI.
- Familiar with tactical Android applications.
- Familiar with KTS hardware and software solutions
- Familiar with Weapons & Tactics Training Program or GCE Operations & Tactics Training Program.

Systems Engineers:
The candidate poses a technical and integration background while understanding battlespace CONOPS and mission oriented solutions. The candidate has demonstrated architecture development or integration of various systems on multiple aircraft platforms. The candidate will work with the software team to define system interfaces, communicate with suppliers and customers, and develop technical solutions. The candidate must be able to work without supervision, contribute innovative ideas to improve products, and lead integration efforts.
Software Engineers:
Candidate should be able to perform on a technical team to develop software solutions using the latest technologies. The candidate poses a technical and integration background. The candidate has demonstrated software development on various platforms on various systems (ideally of aircraft systems).
