Job DescriptionAs a Field Service Technician at JDE, you are part of our technical team, passionate about our product (coffee), technology, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. As a technical specialist, you are the face of our company at the customer site, ensuring high‑quality technical service: you perform preventive maintenance on coffee machines and act immediately when a malfunction is reported by the customer. You mainly work in the North - West Brussels region, but you are also flexible to occasionally support colleagues in other regions or to be present at our office.
Your key responsibilities:
- You resolve technical issues for customers on our advanced coffee machines, following the Field Service planning.
- You arrive on time and always work according to applicable safety regulations.
- You carry out repairs and interventions professionally and with a customer‑focused mindset, with strong attention to quality.
- You work across different domains: software, electrical, and mechanical.
- You visit customers with newly installed machines to provide instructions and adjust settings.
- You perform preventive and occasional maintenance.
- You support installations or removals in exceptional cases.
- You represent our company at the customer site and ensure a positive experience.
- A2 diploma in Electronics or Electricity.
- Experience is an asset, but motivated starters are welcome.
- Technically strong and customer‑oriented.
- Analytical and solution‑oriented.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and French.
- Independent, stress‑resistant, and well‑organized.
- Holder of a Category B driving license and willing to obtain a BA4 certificate.
- Flexible for occasional evening or weekend service.
- Preferably residing in the Brussels region.
