About the role BD is recruiting a Field Service Engineer who will work as part of a dedicated team of engineers based across the UK and Ireland supporting infusion systems such as BD Alaris and BD Global Ambulatory.This role is primarily supporting the North London region, a company car is provided to cover the territory.Main responsibilities will include:As a Field Service Engineer, you will;Cover a defined territory but support the wider team as required.Calibrate, service and repair of customer and company equipment in accordance with company procedures aligned to department Turnaround Time.Provide remote technical support for customers via email, telephone or webinar.Provide technical device training both to internal and external customers.Provide support of investigations to customer complaints and any other issues that may arise.Produce detailed and accurate service reports using our business IT systems.Carry out detailed and effective stock inventory checks and monitoring of parts used and reordering when stock is low.To provide constructive feedback within the department to help with the development of service procedures and work instructions.Carry out project work to enable the evolution of the business.Support revenue growth, cost savings and operational efficiencies, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.About youThe successful candidate will have an electrical or electronic engineering qualification or equivalent with proven experience in a field service capacity. You will have strong IT skills and be able to skill up on multiple systems easily.You will be a strong communicator with excellent customer service. You will have attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. You will be flexible in your attitude to work to deliver solutions to our customers.
