Job DescriptionThe Account Manager Distribution Sales, AMR is a commissioned sales position responsible for sales to Authorized Distributors and strategic named channel accounts in the Americas region.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the business relationship with Solidigm’s Authorized Distributors in North America to achieve growth goals and deliver to sales targets for Data Center/Enterprise products.
- Manage all aspects of Solidigm’s engagement with Distribution partners including administering distributor programs, overseeing the use of marketing development funds, pricing implementation, driving Sales Out, managing inventory, launching new products and delivering road map updates and training to Distributor Sales teams and downstream customers.
- Identify new strategic downstream customers and engage with them to deliver roadmaps updates, design in Solidigm SSDs, and generate incremental revenue for the region.
- Develop programs to accelerate sales and grow the broad channel customer base.
- Collaborate closely with Solidigm’s regional Data Center team to support any needs of their covered accounts that may purchase through distribution.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of the Storage and Memory marketplace.
- Experience selling to Distributors and their customers and understanding of sales channel dynamics.
- Ability to conduct complex business negotiations inclusive of pricing, supply, alliances and multiparty business agreements.
- Demonstrated ability to interface and influence from CEO executives down to purchasing and product managers in key decision-making situations.
- Sales results orientation and hunting mentality. Proven experience in identifying and developing new customers.
- Experience interacting with internal & external stakeholders to obtain required support and achieve sales results in the field.
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills with proven ability to execute effectively across teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Regular business travel is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, STEM or related. Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of sales or industry experience.
For California, Colorado, New York, Washington, and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $192,390 - $307,810. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
