Job Requirements:
The Field Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting and selling Industrial Filtration's complete portfolio of products including felts, filter bags, and hot gas filters. Maintain strong communication with customers in the assigned territory, delivering exceptional technical assistance, and driving sales growth in alignment with corporate objectives. This role includes managing sales projects, representing the company at trade shows and conferences, and providing technical presentations. The position also involves collaborating on product development, market expansion, and supporting operational processes, with travel requirements up to 50%.
Responsibilities:

Maintain clear and consistent communication with customers, both verbal and written, regarding:

Product design and offerings

Pricing and quotes

Delivery and shipping details

Technical assistance and support

Drive sales growth with core customers, meeting or exceeding corporate targets.

Support the development and introduction of new products and market opportunities.

Build and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their needs and aligning solutions accordingly.

Coordinate and manage sales projects to ensure timely execution.

Prepare and deliver monthly sales activity reports, including market analysis and intelligence.

Contribute to the development of the yearly sales forecast and budget.

Conduct on-site visits with key customers, providing written call reports summarizing outcomes.

Provide technical presentations at trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.

Assist customers in resolving product-related issues and ensure a high level of satisfaction.

Support order entry, shipping processes, and other customer service activities as needed.

Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and the Alkegen Quality Management System (QMS).

Undertake other assignments and projects as directed by the EMEA Sales Manager.
Qualifications/ Experience:
-
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.

Experience: 5–10 years of proven success in industrial filtration sales .

Established customer relationships within the filtration industry.
-
Demonstrated ability to generate $3–$5M in sales annually.

In-depth understanding of filtration technologies and their applications.
-
History of successful dry filtration sales in one or more of the following industries: Food, Pharmaceutical, Cement, Asphalt, Lime, Minerals, Energy (WTE), Metals, etc.

Strong proficiency in working with CRM systems and maintaining key opportunities within the platform.

Fluency in English and/or German is required; additional languages are a plus.

Ability to handle multiple key accounts and projects while managing priorities effectively.

Proven track record of collaborating as part of a global team.

Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to meet customer and business needs.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly via email and telephone.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing customer concerns.
