    Job Requirements:

  • Deliver revenue growth through the identification, qualification, and development of new opportunities. 
  • Work in conjunction with the Sales Mgr NA to develop and implement strategies which ensure that planned sales and business results are achieved as detailed in the business plan for the current year.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers and prospects to Alkegen This responsibility includes coordinating any and all communication among other functional areas at Alkegen with their customer counterparts as appropriate. Emphasis on team-based selling.
  • Update and maintain company CRM database containing all relevant customer information such as: key contacts, current new sales opportunities, threats to current business etc.
  • New Business Pipeline Development managed n a structured method
  • Establish and maintain a thorough understanding of the assigned customers’ organizational structure, strategies in the market and product requirements. Provide regular reports back to the organization, updating status as appropriate.
  • Promote product line, market and business group strategies at key accounts and to new prospects. 
  • Identify opportunities for additional share gain within target markets, secure appropriate audiences for technical presentations and deliver value statements that will enable continued revenue growth. 
  • Effectively communicate to the organization our customers’ challenges in the market, define new product performance standards that will provide effective solutions. 
  • Deliver annual revenue plan with monthly updates and revisions. Forecast sales of Alkegen products, annually by month for the Alkegen budget and quarterly during the year with a rolling 12 month forecast.
  • Develop, negotiate and support Agreements as appropriate for strategic accounts.
  • Recommend sales, market and business strategies based on market knowledge.
  • Define appropriate cross-functional personnel and other resources as necessary to deliver the sales strategy.
  • Support Accounting with the collection of receivables as needed
  • Must be able to work extended hours for special projects
  • Travel expectations 50% annually but could exceed within a period

Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Must have three years of experience in either sales or marketing
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Enhanced computer skills with direct experience with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or regulations
  • Ability to write reports such as business correspondence and test reports
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers
  • Ability to develop and communicate a strategy for success within assigned territory 
  • Ability and willingness to learn and use new business development skills
  • Understanding or ability to learn technical details of filter media production as well as filtration applications and processing
  • Demonstrated aptitude for active listening in order to ensure thorough understanding of customer expectations
