The Role


We are seeking Field Sales Account Executives for the Dallas Ft Worth, Austin, and Houston territories. PayJunction has developed a one of its kind payment integration into almost any business management software (SaaS) - Any business using software to manage their business and accept payments is a potential client - We’ve seen exceptional success in the Professional Services verticals, especially human medical, dental, auto, and veterinarians. In this role you will consistently meet or exceed sales targets by identifying, prospecting, and securing new clients, nurturing long-term partnerships, and serving as a trusted advisor in the payments and merchant services space.

Mission

Our Field Sales team’s mission is to drive revenue growth by building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying and closing new business opportunities, and expanding market share through strategic sales efforts.

 

Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement:
    • Conduct in-person meetings and product demonstrations with prospective clients.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Pipeline Development:
    • Prospect, cold call, and leverage referrals to build a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
    • Convert qualified opportunities into successful deals through a strategic approach.
  • Sales Execution:
    • Navigate and close sales contracts with confidence and precision.
    • Consistently achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Market Research and Strategy:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
    • Leverage market insights to tailor sales approaches for maximum impact.
  • Local Networking
    • Attend networking events, and applicable conferences to promote PayJunction’s brand and solutions.
  • Sales Forecasting:
    • Provide accurate and reliable sales forecasts to support strategic planning.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of field sales experience, preferably in payments, merchant services, or SaaS.
  • Minimum of 1 year of payments experience.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to diagnose client needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Experience with contract negotiation and closing sales.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Excellent territory knowledge and the ability to network effectively within the assigned region.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and highly organized with strong time management skills.
  • A current, valid driver's license
  • Car insurance that meets or exceeds local requirements
  • A clean driving record, free of pending litigation

The OTE (salary + commission) for this role is $80,000 - $120,000/year plus our Total Reward Benefit package.
